Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add) 

My name is Blythe Ivey Bedlion and I was born in Springfield, Missouri. I am 19 years of age, but you could say I’m an old soul! I live with my boyfriend and his son and work full time as a server on top of being signed with multiple agencies.

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

My modeling experience actually just started in 2020. I had a photographer reach out to me and say I would make a perfect model so naturally we did a couple of photo shoots! I sent my photos out to agencies and they were interested in me, signed me, and here I am now.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream would probably be being able to not only be financially secure myself but to be able to help my family out as well.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means not following the norms of our societies beauty standards. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and beauty is not only physical characteristics. Being your own kind of beautiful is being kind on the inside and out.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as ever-changing. Every day I wake up and want to try something new with my style! I would have to say that my favorite go to outfit is a pair of Docs and a furry jacket.

Who or what inspires you?

I would have to say all strong women inspire me the most. Women who have been through a lot but never failed to keep lifting other women up and being a strong pillar in their community truly make me want to be just like them!

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to someone who is just starting with modeling is to throw your insecurities out the door. You will not make it far if you don’t love yourself. Your confidence will show through your work and nothing is more beautiful than that.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Some obstacles that I have had to overcome would definitely be the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only did it put me out of work but I had to sell my car as well to pay bills. The pandemic placed a lot of hardships on everybody but it made me realize that we all have to stick together when things get rough!

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes me beautiful in my opinion is my heart. I care deeply for other people even if I have never met them in my life and I wish goodness on everybody even if they have made mistakes because we are all human.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say to someone who is struggling with their confidence that someone else’s beauty does not subtract from your own. Although you might not be able to see it you are beautiful in your own way
