Hello, my name is Allicen. I’m 14 years old and 5’9 ft tall! I have a identical twin sister she is also a model, we look just alike. She is my best friend of all time.  

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I am a new model, I have no modeling experience whatsoever. But I am very excited to learn and better myself in the modeling industry!

What is your biggest dream? 

My biggest dream would be to be a successful model and actress! I want to live a good life while doing something I love. It would be wonderful to be a well known role model for young girls and boys who need help. I want everyone to know that they are beautiful and loved!! 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful

To be your own kind of beautiful means to love and cherish your own beauty. With today’s beauty standards and overwhelming social media presence affecting the way young girls and boys love themselves is upsetting. You have to love your beauty and not compare yourself to other because they aren’t you and you aren’t them. You are beautiful. 

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say my style is trendy and casual, but on a occasion I love to dress up and look very elegant! 

Who or what inspires you?

My mom inspires me to be the person I am. She is the strongest woman I know and love, I want to make her proud. She is loving, caring, funny and super supportive. When I told her I wanted to model and act she supported me and my sister 100%. I couldn’t imagine a better mom so everything I am is owed to her. 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice would be to stay true to yourself. You can’t change or stress yourself just because you don’t look like the “beauty standards”. Make your own beauty standard for yourself and love yourself. You are beautiful never forget that. Just relax and be you because wow you are gorgeous. 

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

An obstacle I had to overcome that shaped me was, growing up biracial I was often bullied by people not knowing what I was. I never felt like I fit in anywhere at all. That lowered my self esteem a lot but I’ve finally figured myself out and gained confidence in my own beauty. Kids never understood and when kids don’t understand they judge and bully, I hated being different and actually wished I could just be one race so then I would know where I belonged. 

What makes you beautiful/handsome? 

What makes me beautiful is my mind and personality, I never judge someone else and look on the inside of others rather than looks. I’m a kind person and I hate to hurt others feelings which leads me to always think and care for others to makes sure they are not hurting. I am beautiful because I am me. 

 

What would you say to another person girl/guy your age struggling with there confidence? 

I would tell them to that they are beautiful inside and out and they need to believe it. They are so perfect in every single way and nothing will ever be wrong with them. They need to believe in their selves and know their own worth which is the world. Every single person deserves the world and much more honestly. You don’t need to fit into society’s beauty standards to be beautiful. Just be you because you are beautiful.
