My name is Kiersten Dennull, I am 18 years old and was born in Dayton, Ohio. I’m very much a free spirit. Art is my escape, you will always catch me drawing or painting something. I am just me.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

My mother was a model so I grew up in the industry and eventually decided I wanted to follow in her footsteps and began sending in submissions! 

What is your biggest dream?

To inspire. I want to show people that it’s okay to stand out. Plain and ordinary is boring. I just want to inspire people of all ages to be themselves.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Just be yourself. Stereotypes are dumb. Standing out will always be better. Look how you want. Your body is just an empty canvas.

How would you describe your fashion style?

Unique, a little bit of hippie, with a little bit of edge. 

Who or what inspires you?

My best friend is my biggest inspiration. Not only is she the strongest person I know but she pushes me to be the bigger better person I can be.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Just go for it. Worst thing that happens is you’re told no. No risk is being taken! 

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I became very ill and hospitalized with lyme disease that led to a eating disorder. Which led to body dysmorphia after being at a healthy weight again. I was able to push through things I never believed i’d be strong enough to.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Everyone is beautiful in there own way. I believe looks are just a slight part of beauty and my personality is what truely makes me beautiful just having love for everyone.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Who cares what anyone else thinks. Every person has insecurities. Find your own type of beautiful and own it.
