Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add).
My name is Abbey Arcari. I'm from a little town in Michigan called Sterling Heights. I am16 years old junior at Eisenhower High School where I am a varsity cheerleader and I also dance. I have been a dancer for 10 years and it is a great passion of mine.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I started modeling at a young age, from print work to commercials and runway, I have also found a great passion for modeling.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream in life is to see and experience as much as I can.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
I believe that everyone has their own kind of beauty and their own gifts, we just need to discover them and share them with others.
Who or what inspires you?
My inspiration comes from my family. They have always encouraged me to do my best, and even if I fail, it's better than to never have tried at all.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My advice to anyone just getting started in modeling would be to not give up, it's not always easy, but don't get discouraged. The best things in life don't come easy, but they are worth it.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
One of my biggest obstacles that I have had to work to overcome is my social anxiety. I used to be very anxious of others opinions and judgement, but I realized that I have to just keep being myself. When I began modeling it helped me to become more confident in myself and love myself for who I am.
What makes you beautiful/ handsome?
Beauty is not only on the outside, but it is also on the inside. My kindness and compassion for others, as well as showing love for those around me, is one of the great characteristics about me.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
For others that are struggling with self confidence, I think you should surround yourself with those that bring you up and support and encourage you. It's not easy to step out of your comfort zone, but trying new things will help you gain confidence in what you can achieve!
