Tell us about yourself
I am 20 years old, from Fayetteville, North Carolina. I started modeling at the age of 13, I also attended a modeling and acting school and fell in love with modeling ever since. I realized that modeling was something I wanted to take serious and take on as a professional career. I’ve done runway events to photo shoots to commercial/tv film auditions.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
Being in front of the camera is the best feeling because I’m just being myself! I get to showcase my talent of my 7 years of experience. I’ve modeled for local runway events such as prom, bridal, and teen fashion shows. I also participated in the “2019 Auditions Today” fashion show in Pennsylvania, that was a fun experience because I got to travel away from home.
What is your biggest dream? -
My biggest dream is to become a successful model in the industry. I would love to take on bigger opportunities that will take me places in life as a model and become one the biggest and most successful models of the world on the runway!
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful? -
My definition of beautiful means to truly love yourself inside and out, people will notice it and when people see how much confidence you have, it makes you untouchable. Just be yourself!
How would you describe your fashion style? -
My style of fashion is very classy and chic. I like to wear colors that complements my skin tone and I wear clothing that enhances my body shape.
Who or what inspires you? -
People like Zendaya and Yara Shahidi inspire me because they are loved by so many people for being their self. They are so confident in their skin, very intelligent and independent young females of my generation. I love how unbothered they are of people opinions and use their voice in so many ways.
What have been your greatest accomplishments?-
My biggest accomplishment by far was graduating from high school and attending college to become a licensed Esthetician.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.-
My biggest barrier I had to overcome so far would have to be breaking out of my shell. Throughout high school I used to be afraid to speak up for myself, or if I didn’t agree with something or someone because I’m a very quiet person and soft spoken. It took me a while to become expressive, also learning to deal with rejection as far as the modeling industry because it’s not always easy but now I can say that my breakthrough was way worth it because it made me a better person.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?-
My unique smile, level of intelligence and my confidence makes me a beautiful young woman.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?-
I would tell her that anytime she second guess herself because she’s worried about everyone else’s opinion, her answer should be “just do it”. Whether if that means showing off your style of fashion or wearing makeup a certain way, even wearing your hair differently just do it because it’s your body. You are the one who has to live in your body for the rest of your life so do what you want to make you confident!
