Tell us about yourself
I come from a military family and am an only child to divorced parents. My father is Hispanic, and my mother is white. At a very young age I had already traveled to many countries and seen so many things. As I got older my life became more stable and we stayed in one place. I have been in Arizona the longest out of any other place and am happy to call it my home, but I still have that itch to see the world and experience incredible things. I’m a college freshman studying nursing currently. I just want to help people and do something I am passionate about. I grew up playing soccer and some other sports, but soccer was my main sport.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have never modeled before. This will be my first real experience, the closest I have come to modeling is doing my senior portraits for my high school yearbook.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to travel the world with friends.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Everyone is beautiful in their own way. To be your own kind of beautiful is to embrace your flaws and realize that because of them you’re perfectly you. There is no one else like you in the world and that is a beautiful thing.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my fashion style as edgy with a dash of Hollywood prep. Sometimes I like to be edgy or wear clothes that have some spice to them. Other days I like dressing in a Hollywood prep style, meaning that I want to wear pastels and girly clothes.
Who or what inspires you?
My grandfather was and is my biggest inspiration. He was my best friend in the world, when he passed my whole world changed and I suddenly didn’t know how to make it through the day. Now his memory is what keeps me going and inspires me to go above and beyond every day.
What have been your greatest accomplishments?
My greatest accomplishments have been in school and sports so far. Getting signed is now part of my accomplishments and I am extremely excited and thankful for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing company.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
My parents got divorced when I was around 7. This changed my life and has since created some obstacles. I have learned to just trust in myself and not let what other people think of me effect the way I think about myself. I played soccer on an all guys team in an all guys league. This was also an obstacle, but I ended up being captain for 3 years and becoming an amazing player. I’ve learned that I am strong and I can accomplish anything I put my mind to.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
The things that make me beautiful are my imperfections. My scars, my past, and my pain are what make me beautiful. I am not perfect, no one is, and that is what is so beautiful. I am one of a kind.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
If you are struggling with your confidence, just remember that you’re not alone. Everyone has their own insecurities, and everyone has their own inner battles that they deal with. Don’t let your insecurities control you or be the judge of your self-worth.
