Tell us about yourself

- I’m a student at Bradley University studying Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Fine Arts. Music and fashion have always been my passion and my choice of self expression. I want to model and use it to see the world. I’m kind of obsessed with Batman, and any DC Comics.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

- so far I have worked with Rue21, Pacsun, Target, and a couple smaller brands as an ambassador/influencer for the past 2 years being featured in their social media platforms and websites.

What is your biggest dream?

- My dream is to become a runway model! That is the end goal for me and using that to see the world in high end fashion.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

- It means being your purest version of yourself. You are beautiful because you are truly expressing yourself. Beauty is within and only radiates off of you when you feel it at your core. The only way to do that is to be true to yourself.

How would you describe your fashion style?

- My style is very unique to who I am. I use my fashion to express myself, it’s a form of art. I don’t allow myself to be defined by my race, gender, or background. I find myself wearing a lot of streetwear as well as the hipster style. But it can range depending on what I’m trying to express.

Who or what inspires you?

- truthfully I don’t have just one specific inspiration, I pull from everywhere. I love to diversify my wardrobe which causes me to be open to so many different people and their chosen forms of style.

What have been your greatest accomplishments?

My biggest accomplishment was being signed by Rue21. I worked so hard to be seen by them, and I was new in the modeling/instagramming world, so it completely caught me off guard when they actually showed an interest in me. Also, that was my “AHA” moment that I was actually doing something right and hard work does pay off.

Do you have any special talents?

- I speak polish fluently

- I can juggle

- I’m an artist (graffiti and glassblowing)

- I play piano and some guitar

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

- I believe one obstacle was jumping over the hurtles of being accepted in the world despite my fashion choices. As an African American man I always feel as though I’m out in a bubble of what it means to be me and expectations of how I am to represent myself and my people. But I had to decide that my story is mine and I decide how my narrative plays out. This helped me take control and truly become the best version of myself. It also helped me open that door for others and be the light they needed when they were struggling.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

- I make myself handsome, I believe I am, I stopped allowing the belief that society defined attractiveness and I didn’t fit the criteria. I realized I was as handsome and I believed myself to be and if I truly believed it, it would radiate off of me and in every picture.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

- You already have the confidence you need. No one can give it to you or take it away. The only person who can define you is you, and the minute you see over your story you’ll realize that no one else could ever write it for you. Love yourself, believe in yourself, and everything will fall into place.
