Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I am 19 years old and am from Panama City, Florida. I am in my second year of college for a major in Business and a minor in Ministry. I love being around family and friends and just people in general just about all the time. In my spare time I watch funny fail videos on YouTube, they are the best!

Tell us about your modeling experience.

The desire to model has been on my heart for a very long time, since I was little and I thought it was a no from God (it was just a “not yet”) when I stumbled upon Christian Models Association one day about a month and a half ago. I have looked for anything “Christian based” in the industry for over two years now and it never popped up. And now not only do I have a Christian modeling coach but am also signed with a Christian agency that I never knew either of them existed! God knew the right timing. Coach Stikks has taught me so much about the industry and how everything works, and I am now in a sisterhood with other models and it is wonderful because we get to cheer each other along in each other’s journey! I have done a few photoshoots so far and am now signed, how exiting!!!!

What is your biggest dream?

Well, I have a lot of dreams. My ultimate dream in life is to “be about my Fathers business” and do what God has willed for my life. My dream for modeling (other than sharing Jesus with the people) is to make it a full-time job and to model for Sherri Hill and be in a Country music video one day!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

I believe that being your own kind of beautiful is owning who God made you to be and walking in that. Not trying to be like other people but truly being you and owning it.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is the southern boutique kind of style. I can go from wearing that to an old t-shirt, shorts, and a ball cap. I like to look nice most of the time but its also nice to wear those comfortable clothes as well.

Who or what inspires you?

Jesus Christ is my biggest inspiration in life. Afterall, he created the meaning of it. I could not do life without him. He gives me dreams, passions, desires and propels me to move forward in life no matter the circumstances or situation. My goal is to do His will!

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Well, I have just started modeling not too long ago and am still learning a lot LOL, but I think we will always be learning something new. First thing I would say is to never compromise your moral values for the sake of a job. And something practical would be to always be early and prepared with everything and to be personable and relatable to the people you are working with so they will want to work with you again and refer you to others.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

When I was younger, there were a few tragedies that occurred in my family. Due to that and my parent’s jobs, I suffered from severe anxiety all throughout high school. That was very, very hard to go through but Jesus has brought me through that and because of Him I have hope. I do not struggle like that anymore and have been more than an overcomer from this because of Him, praise God!!!!

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes you beautiful is who you are as a person. How you treat people and the way you react to situations. Physical beauty is so temporary and fades, but what comes out of your heart is who you are and defines you! Anybody can be physically beautiful, but I believe a good heart is what really makes a person beautiful!

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I used to struggle a lot with self-confidence, but God has really carried me out of that struggle. He created us for a specific purpose and every little detail about us, whether it is the shape of our nose or how our laugh is; God created you, you because He wanted you. He needed a person like you. Exactly how you are, so there is no need to try and be like someone else, because the God of the universe has chosen you. I will say, it is a lot easier said than done, but when you are in those times where your confidence is in the deepest valley, start thanking God for what you do have. Well and able limbs to carry out necessary task’s, vision, hearing, the ability to properly think through things, a nose that can breathe, and so on. When we realize and know who we are in Christ, that is when we are able to walk in true confidence.
