Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am 21 years old and I’m a senior at SUNY ESF. I am a biochemistry major and graduate in December 2020. I am taking a gap year before going back to school for my MD/PhD. I love reading and drawing and I like to stay fit by dancing and ice skating. Latin dancing and ballroom dancing are my favorites.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
My modeling experience has been short. I started around March 2020 by repping an activewear company and a bikini company. I really enjoyed doing photoshoots and decided that I wanted to keep going with modeling. Hannah Noelle is the first agency I have been signed to and I’m really excited to see where it will go from here.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to be an OBGYN after medical school. I chose this field because I am passionately pro-life and I want to help women see that there are other options besides abortion, especially women whose children have been diagnosed with special needs. My brother has special needs, and he is the light of my life and I want to help show women that a child with special needs is a blessing.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being your own kind of beautiful is being able to love and accept yourself. You have to be content with who you are, but also be able to accept the beauty and uniqueness of others at the same time.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I like to wear lots of different styles, but I would say my outfits tend to be very feminine and colorful. The most important thing is accessories! Shoes, bags, and jewelry bring any outfit to the next level.
Who or what inspires you?
My motto is WWJAD- What would Julie Andrews do? I think Julie Andrews is so sophisticated and elegant and I strive to be like her every day.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
As someone whose modeling career is just beginning, I would say that you have to believe in it to make it happen. I believe in manifesting, so putting what you want out into the universe and believing it will come true will eventually make it happen.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
For many years I have struggled with IBS. It had gotten to the point where I couldn’t eat anything without being in pain and getting sick. This cause me to have a really unhealthy relationship with food where I didn’t want to eat anything at all. Working out was the only thing that gave me any relief, so I got into an unhealthy habit of not eating and working out too much. Any time I would eat it would be associated with guilt because I knew I would feel sick later on. I was losing too much weight and couldn’t get through my days without feeling dizzy and weak. I’m doing much better now. I learned what foods are IBS friendly and learned that I don’t need to feel guilty when I eat food. Food is nourishing and good for our bodies and I would love to show other girls that they don’t have to feel guilt about eating either.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I believe my love and compassion for others is what makes me beautiful. I like to look for the beauty and good in every person.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Make a list of fifty things that you love and appreciate about yourself. Include things that you like physically, mentally, personality-wise and even things that your body can do (ex: dancing). Put this list somewhere you can see it everyday and whenever you start to feel insecure, look at this list and remind yourself of all the wonderful qualities you have and all the things you love about yourself.
