Tell us about yourself.

My name is Gianna and I’m 14 years old.  I’m originally from NH but moved to Southwest Florida in 2017.  I started dance at the age of 3 and started dancing competitively when I was 9.  I have taken the last year off to pursue modeling, which I absolutely love doing!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to make a career out of modeling.  I love being in front of the camera.  Doing runway is my favorite, it make me feel so powerful.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To me beauty comes from within.  What good is a pretty face when your attitude and actions are ugly.  Be kind and treat others they way you would want to be treated.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I started modeling dance wear while I was still dancing in 2018.  It was then I realized my love of modeling.  I started doing more photoshoots then applied to be in a runway show.  I was chosen to walk and the love affair started.  I have walked in NYFW, Miami Swim Week, Coastal Fashion Week as well as a few smaller shows.  I do a lot of modeling for a designer in Orlando, I have been on a cover of a novel called Forever Young by V. Simpson.  I’ve only been modeling for a year now and I’m super excited too see what the future brings.

What is your dream brand to model for?

Oh wow!  I can’t choose just one!  My dream brand(s) would be Gucci, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford!!!  Aim for the stars!!!

How would you describe your fashion style?

I love all types of style to be honest but jeans, a t-shirt and some sandals or Vans are my go to everyday style.

How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?

Self confidence is super important.  There is no place for doubt.  I read a quote once that said something like “doubt kills more dreams than failure ever would.” If you doubt yourself it will show in your work.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

To me being beautiful isn’t as much about beauty, but your attitude and how you support and treat others.  I love supporting my friends and fellow models.  If I hear about a casting I will pass along the information to others and cheer them on.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would ask them what makes them feel insecure or not confident.  I would then work with them as much as I can to get them comfortable and feeling better about themselves.
