Tell us about yourself.
My name is Sara A., I’m 22 years old and I’m from Western Michigan. I am currently a college student pursuing a career in Law but have always viewed modeling as a dream that I could be passionate about.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to graduate college and enter into a career or field that I could be excited and passionate about. I want a job that I love and can take care of me and my family.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To be your own kind of beautiful means that a person uses their God-given gifts and talents to fulfill everything they were created to be. I think everyone offers a unique voice or talent that can help us create meaningful relationships and lives that are beautiful.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
My modeling experience consists of doing small photo shoots and test shoots for my friends’ projects.
What is your dream brand to model for?
My dream brand to model for would probably be a tie between Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger or Calvin Klein because those are all brands that I’ve loved since I first fell in love with fashion.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is always evolving and shifting according to what mood I’m in, where I’m going and how much thought I’ve put into an outfit. I love and breathe fashion and I believe that your image is very important because that’s your first impression to the world before you speak. I love to dress up whenever I can and even on a lazy sweatpants day, I love to add a statement shoe or earrings to dress up my look. I would describe my fashion style as classic with a hint of sparkle.
How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?
I think self-awareness and confidence are crucial in your everyday life because those dictate how you communicate and behave with everyone in different environments. I believe self awareness can help us evolve into better human beings by identifying and changing our flaws and old behaviors and that in turn leads to confidence and bravery.
What makes you beautiful?
I think what makes me beautiful is my kindness and positivity that I want to spread into the world. I like to make people laugh and feel comfortable and happy.
What would you say to another girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I believe in female empowerment and I think there are so many things in the world that hinder our confidence and I just want every woman to know that they’re beautiful, strong and unstoppable. Everyone is uniquely beautiful and smart and I think becoming comfortable with who you are is the key to having confidence.
