Tell us about yourself.

My name is Taylor Floyd, and I’m from Columbia Falls, MT. I have always had a dream of traveling the world, and finding a way job that would allow it to happen, and for me, modeling was the answer. I’ve always been told that I have a very graceful walk, and after looking into it, I decided I wanted to try modeling. I’ve come to realize that modeling is an art that I want to pursue! Runway is my main focus, and my favorite part of being a model! I also enjoy any chance I get to be creative, and create something beautiful!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream would be to become a well known runway model, and travel the world while doing so!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

I know a lot of people who don’t see the true beauty in being unique, and I feel like  “being your own kind of beautiful” means that everyone is different, and it’s beautiful to let the true YOU show, instead of trying to be like everyone else.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I’ve walked for the Cupani Fashion Week  (in NYC), the Icon Fashion Show (In Montana),  along with some smaller shows for a boat company, and the local mall. I have done more than 50 photoshoots with some of the photographers located in Montana as well.

What is your dream brand to model for?

I’m a huge fan of Chanel, and Guess, modeling for them would be an amazing opportunity, and A LOT of fun!

How would you describe your fashion style?

I change my style quite frequently, to be honest. I do, however, continue going back to a care-free, boho style.

How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?

I struggle a bit when it comes to confidence. I’ve been working hard to get comfortable in my own skin, and allow my full personality to shine through. It is very important for me that I gain and maintain confidence, because without it, I don’t have the ability to accomplish the dreams/goals I’ve set for myself. Self-awareness is very important for me as well. If you don’t know where you are, how can you tell how far you’ve come? In another perspective, If you don’t know/understand what’s around you, or where you stand in the world right now, it may be more difficult to move forward, and grow.

What makes you beautiful?

I personally enjoy how strong I am, and the way I try to handle every situation without hurting anyone. I enjoy the peace that I’m able to obtain in my everyday life as well. Physically, I love the color of my eyes, and the shape of my lips. I also feel confident about my figure.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

When I’m lacking confidence, I try to remind myself that I’m not the center of the universe, and everyone around me has their own problems to deal with. They are usually too busy to worry about me, and what I’m doing. whether you tripped on your way down the stairs and almost fell, or you have something stuck in your teeth, most likely you’re overthinking it, and no one else even noticed. They have more important things to focus on than pulling you apart, and searching for every flaw.
