Senele Jessie Ncube
About Senele Jessie Ncube: My first name is Senele, but I go by my middle name Jessie. I am 15 years old, 16 in October. I live in Indianapolis, Indiana with my mom, aunt, and cousin. I go to a boarding school in Cicero, Indiana. I have a tracheostomy tube for the rest of my life. In 2015 I was in a car accident. I almost died, but I bounced back. I love being with my friends. My favorite color is blue. I am a twin to a boy.
Biggest dream: my biggest dream is to make a change. Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to change something. I would always see celebrities doing something to help and I've always wanted to do that.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful: Being your own kind of beautiful means not caring what others think. It means embracing your true self, being one of a kind.
Modeling experience: I've never actually modeled for anyone before, but I took modeling and acting classes with Barbizon USA.
Dream brand to model for: Givenchy clothing
My fashion style: I tend to stand out from the crowd. I try to make up my own look. I like wearing jackets a lot. I'm most comfortable in leggings or sweatpants, but will wear dresses every once in a while. My clothing tends to be a little revealing, but not too much for my age.
Self-awareness and confidence in everyday life: Both of those things are very important to me. Honestly the only way I am able to actually enjoy life is when i'm confident. When I lack confidence, I tend to be a scaredy-cat. Self-awareness is how I'm able to get along with people. I know what I feel and it helps me better understand other people.
What makes me beautiful: My scars make me beautiful. I have physical scars and emotional scars. They have shaped me into the person I am today. My scars are who I am.
What I would say to someone struggling with confidence: Be yourself. Forget about what other people have to say. Whoever hates is just a fan. You are unique in your own way and people are just waiting to see who the real you is so stop hiding away. Embrace your scars. Love yourself forever and always.
