Tell us about yourself.

My name is Harley Hunt. I am 16 years old and I am from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

What is your biggest dream?

There are many dreams of mine that i’d love to accomplish. For one, i’d love to graduate from college and earn a bachelor's degree in pre-nursing. I love helping others in need in anyway that I can. It would also be a dream to grow my modeling career. I want to be a role model to young girls throughout the world and have a positive impact.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

We often find ourselves worrying how we look or what others think of us. Being your own kind of beautiful means not believing you have to be like others. Be different, be creative and be beautiful in the way that only you can. Stay true to who you are and do what makes you happy.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

When I was younger I modeled for a talent agency and participated in various photoshoots. The start of 2019 I decided to continue my dream and begin modeling again. Overall I don’t have much experience, but I catch on quick and love being in front of the camera. I have always enjoyed modeling and have found a passion for it over the years. I can’t wait to grow and learn through this agency!

What is your dream brand to model for?

I would love to model for Victoria Secret, American Eagle, or Forever 21! It would be blessing to work for any brand though.  

How would you describe your fashion style?

I’m up to date with the latest fashion trends, I love to wear what's in style. On the days I decide to not dress up, I tend to wear cute sporty outfits.

How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?

Self awareness and confidence are essential in everyday life because they tie into each other. Being able to identify your mistakes, big or small, and take pride and be confident in them encourages personal growth.

What makes you beautiful?

I think what makes me beautiful is my personality. I am very bubbly and always try to spread positivity. When you see me i’m always smiling and in a good mood. I am also very kind hearted towards everyone and love to make others happy. Being beautiful doesn’t alway mean what makes you beautiful on the outside, but what makes you beautiful on the inside as well.

What would you say to another girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Know that you are not alone. There are many young girls who struggle with confidence. We all struggle with the want to please others. One of my favorite quotes is, “Do not be so easily defined.” Do not compare yourself to others. Know that you don’t have any flaws or imperfections, because you are beautiful just the way you are! There is absolutely nothing you need to change about yourself and don’t let anyone tell you differently. Know that you are loved for exactly how you are. No physical feature can outweigh what's on the inside.
