My name is Layla Jernagin i’m from Mckinney Texas I am 19 years old and a freshman in college. I love making people happy and giving back to my community.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to a well-known model. I know that is a hard dream to chase because I have had doors shut in my face telling me I can't be a model I’m not skinny or I don't have what it takes. But I do have what it takes to be a well-known model and I won't give up on that.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
It means that you are comfortable in your skin and body, and don't care what the world thinks of you because you know who you are and that's all that matters.
What is your dream brand to model for?
My dream brand is forever21 I honestly love there style and if I get to model for them one day my life would be complete.
How would you describe your fashion style?
How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life? self-awareness and confidence are VERY important to me. All my life I got picked on for being the tallest in class for being a fast developer, I never really had confidence growing until I started to realize that I am beautiful because God made me how I am he if he likes how I am then I should too
What makes you beautiful?
What makes me beautiful is my positive thinking about everything. if you think positive, then it’s less stress.
What would you say to another girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I would say that you should love yourself everyday look into the mirror and say I am beautiful and if nobody else sees it then they don't know what they're missing. just say that to yourself every day because it really does help you are your biggest fan.
