Tell us about yourself.

I am Romanian, I am fluent in Romanian, it was actually my first language because a majority of my family did not speak English. I was born and raised in Riverside, California. I moved to Texas when I was ten, lived there for six years, and now I live in Vancouver, Washington. I sing, paint, bake, box, I write music and poetry, and am about to be a published author!  I love traveling, adventuring, fitness, and languages, I am currently learning French and Italian. I am infatuated with the idea of submersing myself into all that life has to offer.

What is your biggest dream?

To impact at least one person’s life, to help them, even if it’s just one person, that’s all I want. I want to help others see that life is worth living, and that they too, are beautiful, worthy, and loved.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful is simply that, being YOUR self, being YOUR own kind of beauty, you define it in your own way. The definition of beauty is different for everyone. To be your own kind of beautiful means to be completely and unapologetically yourself.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

Well, I first fell in love with modeling because of my sister, My sister is a photographer and I have been modeling for her for the past ten to eleven years. I then branched out and began to work with local photographers when I was living in Houston.

What is your dream brand to model for?

Levis, Reformation, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Vera Wang

How would you describe your fashion style?

I love Parisian chic, simple, classic, and timeless. I also do have a “tom-boy” side to my style and I think that’s definitely heavily influenced by growing up with three brothers.

How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?

Self- awareness and confidence are crucial. I grew up in an incredibly toxic environment, I got bullied at school, had an eating disorder, struggle with anxiety (derealization) and depression. I had many things that have happened to me in this lifetime, I could have easily given up, but I chose to stay. To fight. It took me a really long time to get to where I am now. I looked for love and acceptance in all the wrong places, I didn’t realize that the love I was looking for I had inside of me all along. That’s why I fought, so that I could help others who went through the exact same thing as me, because the older I got the more I realized how many people feel like me, and all I want more than anything is to help them. Confidence is something that everybody struggles with, men and women, I think that if you’ve mastered confidence you can handle anything because you’re so sure of yourself, you have no doubts and you need no reassurance from anyone because you are your own reassurance.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My eyes and my smile, my smile, definitely. I love spreading happiness onto others and it can be shared with the simplest of acts such as a smile.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say that beauty isn’t in looks, it really isn’t, and once you realize that, your whole entire mindset changes. A beautiful person is constructed with many different things. A beautiful person is made up of one’s own actions, a beautiful person is made out of things not usually seen, such as generosity, tenderness, support, love, etc. Those are things that the world lacks, so when that is seen in a person it truly is beautiful because it is different. Different is rare. Different is beautiful.
