My name is Paige D. I am 19 years old and am now currently living in West Des Monies, IA. I was born and raised in a small town in IA and grew up there my whole life. In my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family, and love to read and watch movies on occasion. I am a very happy, positive person and am always up for an adventure. I love putting smiles on peoples faces and connected with others. I also love to travel and learn about new places, and hope that one day ill travel around the world in the future.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to model and travel around the world. Ever since I was in high school, I always had a passion for it but, I had a lot of self-doubt and didn’t think I was capable of it. I thought that I had to be a specific person to meet those requirements of being a model, which lead to me giving up and not wanting to pursue the dream I always wanted. Once I got out of high school, my thought processed changed. I grew a strong connection with God, and it made my confidence grow my aspect of life changed. For a while I was lost but, now I am regained, and I couldn’t be more thankful. With that, realized I am capable of anything, and that through him, anything is possible.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To be your own kind of beautiful means, to realize that, God created you and no other human being is like you. You are unique and beautiful in every way, and those insecurities you may have, whether its stretch marks, or any other marks on your body that you wish you could get rid of, those marks are what God designed and, you shouldn’t feel ashamed of something that makes you unique and even every case more beautiful. You should own it and love yourself
To be your own kind of beautiful and knowing that, you are strong, confident, kind, caring, and being yourself.

How would you describe your fashion style?
I am very much all about style and comfy as well.
How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?
It is very important to me. Since I have had troubles with that in the past, I have currently pushed away those negative thoughts and realized that I am beautiful and that everyone is beautiful in their own special way. I always have confidence in everything I do, even in situations where I am scared or nervous.
What makes you beautiful?
What makes me beautiful is, I always have a positive personality. A lot of people base their definition of beautiful to just looks but, having an amazing, happy, loving, giving personality, that’s what I think is most beautiful in people and that what I have in myself.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
What I would tell them is, I know that having this feeling is hard and it may seem like there is no way out of it but, there truly is. I would say to them that they are beautiful, and that no one can tell you that you aren’t or that you can’t be something just because they say can’t. You are capable of all things and being different and unique should not be anything to be a shame of at ALL. That’s what makes you stand out, and makes you beauty shine.
