Tell us about yourself:

I am 11 years old.  I was born and raised in Florida. I am also known as Miaflygirl. A girl who inspires people to be unique and to make a difference in the world. I actively share my platform, Be-you-tiful, Be Fly via YouTube and Instagram. Be-you-tiful is about loving yourself and embracing who you are and Be Fly is about helping and uplifting others. I enjoy hula dancing, volunteering and creating videos.

What is your biggest dream?

I aspire to do what makes me happy. Modeling and pageantry is a way for me to have fun. The runway is my second home. One day, I hope to walk the runway for Sherri Hill and grace the Miss Universe stage.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. It’s not a one size fits all. We need to love and embrace our uniqueness. Diversity is beautiful!

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I have always been used to being in front of the camera and I love dressing up. I have participated in four fashion shows. Modeling has really helped me overcome my shyness and increased my self-esteem. I recently participated in New York Fashion Week and it was a dream come true. I have met so many amazing people from around the world.  I always vlog my experience on my YouTube channel to show how modeling has changed my life.

What is your dream brand to model for?

I am a tween influencer who wants to be an inspiration.  I would love to become a Girls with Heart ambassador for Justice.  Their clothing line is so cute and fashionable. I love how they spread a positive message. I always look up to all the Justice girls and how they empower girls to be authentic.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I always love bright and lively colors. It makes me happy and unique. I love rompers, dresses, or clothes with motivational quotes.

How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in everyday life?

I believe it is extremely important to know who you are. Life is a learning experience. You figure out your strengths and weaknesses and learn from your mistakes. We all should be our authentic selves and embrace who we are. You are capable of changing your decisions and why you do things. If you have a dream, strive for it. Everyone is here for a reason. You need to be self-aware in order to reach your dream first. Negativity and fear lead to nowhere. Positivity and confidence will go a long way.

What makes you beautiful?

Beauty is not about the prettiest face or the skinniest body. I feel a kind personality is a beautiful thing. When you brighten someone’s day or make someone laugh it is a gift. Having a positive mind and a kind heart is what makes me beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age struggling with self-confidence?

Anything is possible. Do not let others take you down. You are not alone because many successful people have struggled with self-confidence as well. Know your strengths and weakness.  Find out your gift and share it with the world.
