Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
Hello, I am Samantha Hazelwood. I am originally from Richmond, Virginia but now live I live in a small town in Virginia. I am 18 years old, and I am a licensed cosmetologist and college student. I have two jobs. I work at a Therapy Connections center working full time as of right now and work at a Country Club when staff is low, or they are having a big event if I am not working or in class.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to be successful with a small family and get to travel the world with my military boyfriend.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Everyone is different, yet everyone is unique in their own way. We were all made different and all made beautiful. We are as beautiful as us ourselves tell us we are. always be confident in your own skin. Always smile, it’s your best accessory.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have always loved having pictures taken of me, so I always had a friend, or a cousin do mini photoshoots of me as a child. I have always been interested with photography being in front of or behind the camera. I just recently started looking at, meeting and shooting with more professional photographers and I have feel in love with the experience. I would love to further my experience.
What is your dream brand to model for?
I would love to model anything with style. I particularly like Hollister and American Eagle, but I would love to try it all out with different and new brands. Anything that’s in, stylish and cute I am good with.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I don’t have a particular style that I go for daily. I try a little of anything. I mainly like preppy, casual, chic and girly. Also, I try to keep up to date and have the newest and best fashion if my bank account allows it.
How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?
You need to stay focused on yourself more than anything. Your wellbeing is a top priority. Confidence levels need to stay high.
What makes you beautiful?
I am me. No one else can be me. I am the original copy of me and I play my part the best.
What would you say to another girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Everyone is different. We all have different flaws. We all have different strong points. Your flaws don’t define who you are as a person. Also, most of our flaws are only in our heads. Your own confidence is your keep to your success and how you further the moment and further your future.
